Booking a ride with Lithium means seeing Bogotá on your terms. We skip the generic tourist loops and navigate the city's streets with purpose, blending iconic landmarks with deep local cuts. We start in the sensory overload of Paloquemao Market before rolling into the colonial core of La Candelaria to hit Bolivar Square, Chorro de Quevedo, and the Botero Museum. The route adapts as we go: we track down hidden graffiti, cruise the tree-lined Parkway in Teusaquillo for coffee, and take in the massive scale of Simon Bolivar Park and the Virgilio Barco Library. You finish in the creative hub of San Felipe, stepping into a local workshop to print your own Colombian postcard. You get the full spectrum of the city, perfectly paced to your riding style.

The Market Start

Meet directly at Paloquemao Market. We navigate the massive maze of vendors to taste unique local fruits, run through a quick technical briefing, and mount up for the urban ride.

The Colonial Core

We ride straight into La Candelaria. We take time off the bikes to explore Bolivar Square, the narrow streets of Chorro de Quevedo, the Botero Museum, and the heavy concentrations of downtown street graffiti.

Architecture & Greenery

We push north into the Teusaquillo neighborhood. We cruise down the iconic Parkway—an ideal spot to pull over for Colombian coffee—before riding through the massive green spaces of Simon Bolivar Park and around the striking brickwork of the Virgilio Barco Library.

San Felipe Art District

We end the route in San Felipe, Bogotá's emerging creative district. We drop the bikes and enter a local artist's workshop, where you get hands-on experience printing your own custom postcard to take home.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can join the tour?

These are private, exclusive experiences designed for 1 to 2 riders maximum. We do not group you with strangers.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We require at least 24 hours' notice to ensure the Specialized Turbo Levo e-bikes are fully prepped, charged, and logistical arrangements are locked in.

How physically demanding is the tour?

You need basic cycling skills and balance, but the e-bike motors neutralize the brutal ascents. The equipment handles the heavy physical strain of the high altitude, allowing you to focus on the ride and the terrain.

How do I pay?

You can book and pay securely through platforms like Viator and Airbnb Experiences, or pay via direct transfer/credit card if booking directly with us.

Can I customize the tour in advance or on the day?

Yes. The route, difficulty, and pace are fully adaptable to your skill level. We can adjust the specific paths on the day of the ride depending on your preferences, fatigue levels, and the weather.

Can you pick me up at my hotel?

Yes. Door-to-step delivery and pickup of the e-bikes at your hotel is available as an optional upgrade. Otherwise, the fixed meeting point is our base in Teusaquillo.

Is the area safe?

Yes. You are riding alongside a certified professional guide with over a decade of local experience. We utilize vetted trails, secure off-grid routes, and established cyclist hubs that are heavily transited by the local athletic community.

Does the tour end where it starts?

Yes. The route loops back to the starting point in Teusaquillo, or back to your hotel if you opted for the delivery upgrade.
